Comorbidity Competencies Skills Indicators PDF Print E-mail

7th March 2011: As a further component of their Salvation Army Bridge Program / University of Tasmania Comorbidity Improved Services Initiative (ISI) capacity building project Hannah Graham & Rob White undertook an initial mapping of the types of 'comorbidity competencies' an ATOD practitioner will need to support clients with multiple and complex needs.

The authors caution that this document is a first draft, and the skills indicators are not designed to be comprehensive, nor to replace any existing quality improvement frameworks. Instead, they are complementary to these and can (hopefully) be used by managers, QI staff and practitioners alike for assisting comorbidity specific professional development and workforce development activities in Tasmania.
